Wingate, Nov 13 - Frank Phillips, well known resident of this place, died at his home at 4 Thursday afternoon after an illness of 4 years. Pneumonia was the immediate cause of his demise. A stroke of paralysis suffered nearly 4 years ago left Mr. Phillips an invalid. He was 61 years old and a native of Fountain County. 41 years ago he was married to Mollie McClure, who, with 4 daughters, survive him. The daughters are: Mrs. A.L. Bittle of Anderson; Mrs. Browning of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. G.A. VanCleave and Mrs. Stewart McClure both of Chicago. Funeral services will be from the Methodist Church here at 10 Sunday morning in charge of Rev. O.T. Martin, pastor of the ME Church here. Burial will be in the cemetery here. The deceased had been a member of the Methodist Church 40 years. - kbz
